MS CRANK SENSOR

Post by Budd0413 »

So with the help of a few people I found some interestion information.

I still have some questions with setting up the ignition. I have a crank sensor and crank pulley thar are a direct swap. Now what do I need to do after the crank sensor is installed, as far a wiring up the whole setup. Would i benifit from using the V3 ignition driver opposed to the standard bosh ignition module, and if I use the V3 do i completly remove the ignition module from the car? Thanks

What type of crank wheel is it? i.e. tooth pattern.
Are you using distributor or wasted spark?

Yes the V3 board will interface with your crank sensor ok.
Using the on-board VB921 reduces the external parts, but your Bosch module can be retained if you wish.

The soon to be released 2.6 MS2 code supports 60-2/dizzy as does the existingMS1/Extra code.
