Dumb question about setting up timming table

I'm using the Ford EDIS-8 on a stock Ford 4.6 block (so the static timming is preset at the crank pickup at 10 degrees. The 10 degrees inital timming is setup in the ignition setting on megatune. So when I fill in the ignition table, should I add 10 degrees or is that the total timming I want? So if I put in 20 degrees in the table, does that mean I'll have 28 degrees total timing or 20?
