Non ford coil packs on Ford EDIS

Hi All.

I am sorry if I have posted this in the wrong bit I can't seem to find the EDIS bit any more.

I would like to know if I can use other Coil Packs besides the Ford EDIS Coil Pack?

As I have a Sagem (2 526 040 A) Coil Pack that I want to use.

Ok thanks, I will see if I can find some tech sheets on the coil I want to use.
