Hi,
Chevy V8, Currently running extra 24s9, v2 pcb. With a HEI Dizzy. Has two HEI modules, one for the VR, one for the coil - probably what you would call 'classic hei' setup - all working fine.
I would like take my timing from the crank rather than the dizzy. Once I’ve mounted my trigger wheel, Given that I already have a 4 pin HEI module could I use that to condition my VR signal instead having to build the LM1815 circuit (twice in my case, I as usually carry a spare ECU).
thanks,
Using a HEI 4 module as conditioner for a 36-1 wheel

The HEI4 is not up to the job of conditioning the VR sensor with a 36-1 wheel. It is 9x the frequency it was designed for.

Not sure about Maplin or RS for the LM1815N, but certainly Farnell.
