8 pin and High Current Driver Circuit

I want to make sure I have this right. If I use the High Current Driver Circuit to control the 8 pin module then I must use an IGBT circuit. Correct? If so then what are the jumpers on the board? Do I need to set it for Hall/Opti. I purchased a MSII with it set up for VR and the High Current Driver Circuit.
