ive read the sticky about 3 tmies, ive used 4 different maps, came up with a few of my own, but im still not satisfied that thats good enuf. it still feels like its holding back.
i think one of my problems is the trigger angle.. the actual sensor and missing tooth is roughly 45* from TDC, but from all the maps ive used and have been given they all have a 60-80* trigger angle in spark settings...
can someone plz explain how to obtain the proper angle.

im using ms1 2.2 .024Extra, no relay board, EDIS 4 36-1 tooth wheel. the actual sensor is mounted roughly 45* angle....
however, when i had the head off, at TDC, the missing tooth was perfectly even with the VR sensor. so i started with a 0* angle and had decent results, however alot of other ppl i have talked to and some research i have done sugest 72*,68*,45*, some other random numbers.

lance, i looked over that many times... however those angles do not pretain to my setup.
it says that it should be 90* or roughly 9 teeth... however, my car came stock with EDIS 4 and it only has 3 teeth space between TDC and the missing tooth... i took some pictures.
here you can see the crank is exactly at TDC and the missing tooth is 3 teeth ahead.... not 90*
here you can see the mounted position of the stock VR sensor.
here i have marked the position of TDC in relation to the missing tooth
so what i have came up with is this...... judging from these pictures i think the trigger angle should be roughly 30*. what do you think?
