MSD6A to HEI

I swapped engines and had to change ignitions. I had an MSD6A and now I have a HEI 4pin. When I did the swap I blew out the opto on my MS 2.2 board with a MSII. The MS is now fixed and I am getting ready to hook it up. I do not want to blow this thing up again. Can someone tell me the things I need to do to make sure I don't burn it up again? I have dissconnected the jumper from XG1 to XG2 and moved it to go from XG1 to X11. X11 goes directly to a chassy ground. I have a 470 ohm for R10.

What about hooking up XG1 to XG2 and X11 at the same time?
