coils on plugs

does anyone know if megasquirt would allow me to use a coil on plug setup instead of ht leads (i have a full set off a yamaha R1) they gave 6bhp increase on my dads mates sidecar racer on the dyno, so wondering if i can use the same setup on my mx5, would deffo be better than leads.

Yes, but you would still have to run them wasted spark. Best bet is to run 2 additional VB921, but in parallel with the 2 for a waste spark setup.

Not convinced they will give you any power gains in your application though.
