point not firing

Hey everyone, Frank from Belgium here.
Question, i have MS2 V3 board and latest code installed. I have trobles with VR sensor so switching to point for testing. Wired everthing for "hall, optical sensor and point" according assembly manual.
No spark or signal watsoever.
Must there not be some voltage sending to the points?
Shecked everthing that i can imagine but nothing happens.
Any ideas are welcome.
Think i must use a pull up resistor between "ign igbtout" and "S12" but not sure of it.

Found a solution:

Placed a resistor of 1K between S12 and tachselect. This gives a voltage to the points so it can go to earth via points thus triggering MS.

UPDATE
Replaced the point with opto system from Mallory and now i have clean pulses end no more misses. Have to test if i can remove this resistor since opto give a voltageoutput of its own.
