best ignition code? 99 prelude

Hi, I just got the spark up and running on my 99 prelude, 2.2 4 cyl.

MS&S extra O29q code V3 board firing through stock dist.

It has 3 pick-ups,

1- 12 tooth ( I think ) crank
1- 2 tooth crank
1- 1 tooth (sync) cam signal.

Right now I have spliced into the factory 2 tooth crank signal for tach input.

I am running the 7pin HEI code and the VB921 directly firing the coil.
Here is th problem,

the stock pick-up to tone ring angle doesn't work.
I have to Bias the tining table ~15 degrs to get aceptable ignition timing.
That is to say to get 15 degr. actual timing as shown by the timing light, MS is commanding 30.
As niether the pickup or the tone ring is adjustable I was wondering if another ignition code might be better suited??

If I have to I can always use the cam as a secound trigger but I dont want to whittle up another VR circuit if I dont have to.
