MSI Wasted Spark Help

Post by BSVW8VT »

Hey everyone I need some help here, I have a MSI 3.0V running a 60-2 trigger wheel setup to run Wasted Spark. I was running 029q before the Air Temp problem and know on 029q2.

The car starts up, idles for a few seconds and then quickly dies. If I try giving it gas it will die quicker. Then when going to restart the car it will start but not before a small backfire.

The timing on the motor is set to factory spec 6°BTDC.

Thanks alot,

I'm unclear - did you have it running ok on 029q ?
If yes then add about 10% to your VE table.
