OK I NEED YOUR HELP EXPERTS (pretty please)

Post by bens_cab »

starting to wish id never started this conversion but its nearly done just the megasquirt side of things holding me back and fustrating me in a big way

msns-extra 029q v3
vw 20vt coil on plug wasted spark

first off for the people who have been helping me your all stars and thank you

heres the problems car starts from cold idles nicely when it get hot starts to miss and hunt alot ive set the timing as follows

60-2 crank wheel using vr sensor good rpm signal

with the timing light i set the following
fixed angle 14 deg
trigger angle 83 deg

trig A 5
A return 14

trig B 35
B return 44
when starting its holding the starter back so wont do a complete cycle as if the timing is out(do u understand that

my afr reads good while its not hunting my fuel map is a working progress just need to drive it to set it up now

my spark map is all over the place but on idle its 14deg

as soon as i try to put a little load on the car its miss firing backfiring
spluttering and generaly miss behave

ive spent the last month on this now and its killing me

i though my fuel was over heating but i think its just the heat in the engine bay making it feel that way (filter gets warm)

ive tested the fuel lines and they are ok

please please help me i cant read the manual anymore its embbeded in my mind now

yours truly
