Edis/Fidle on DB37??
Hi,
I'm modifying my MS-II for Edis ignition, because of the fact that I have an relayboard I want to make it easy for myself. I don't need the Fidle function so I would like to use PIN30 on the DB37. But it's a bit tricky to solder a cable from JP1 and shield the PIN30 from the PCB. So my question is where on the PCB can I take away a resistor or something so the PIN30 is dead, so I can solder an cable from JP1 hole 5 to PIN30 without short circuit anything....
Thanks,
Anton

Or shall I scratch off the PCB field (I don't know what it is called) that connect the Q5 and D9 to the PIN30, is that safe???? Please can somebody answer...

I presume this is a v2.2 board? You don't say.
If yes then remove Q5 and D9 and run jumper from JP1/5 to the left hand hole where D9 was (you will see a trace leading to the DB37 pin 30)
There _used_ to be a diagram for this in the Megamanual but it seems to have gone.

Oh, I'm sorry, it's the v2.2 board. What has the Q5 for function??? It will not affect the function of the board in other way then that I loose the Fidle function?? Fidle is for chickens...jsmcortina wrote:I presume this is a v2.2 board? You don't say.
