4000 rpm stumble

Post by oysteinbno »

Car 1
I have V3 board, MS2.2 and firmware 2.33.
Chevrolet Chevelle with a 383 engine. Using MS to control the ignition. ( Triggered by points and direct coil)
When I reach around 4000 rmp the engine stumbles and it doesnt get any higher rpm.

Car 2
Mazda RX7 13B with T70 turbo. V3 board, MS2.2 and firmware 2.33.
Does not control the ignition the original ECU does that. Tach signal from the original ECU.
When the engine reach around 4000 RPM, same problem as above.

Tried to give enough fuel so that's not the problem.
When I've logged the RX7 we noticed that the rpm had spiked up to 19000.
Does anyone have a solution to our problem?
