Ford Mustang IAC wiring question

Postby JUICEDSE » Sun Apr 22, 2007 5:14 pm

I ordered the PWM IAC control mod kit from DIYAutotune and need some clarification on the diode wiring for "fly-back" purposes.

Its worded as needing to be wired across the valve, is my illustration correct?

I believe he's talking about our MK-PWMIAC.

Ok I've done that part about the TIP 122 but do I also need to add the DIODE in there :?: Isn't there one already on the PCB for that :?: It doesn't say anything like that I don't think in here http://www.msextra.com/manuals/MS_Extra_Hardware_Manual.htm#Fidle

The diode works best in the harness itself.
