Ford Mustang IAC wiring question

I ordered the PWM IAC control mod kit from DIYAutotune and need some clarification on the diode wiring for "fly-back" purposes.
Its worded as needing to be wired across the valve, is my illustration correct?

I believe he's talking about our
MK-PWMIAC.

Ok I've done that part about the TIP 122 but do I also need to add the DIODE in there
Isn't there one already on the PCB for that
It doesn't say anything like that I don't think in here

The diode works best in the harness itself.
