Replacement IAC IC?

Post by nitrousdave »

I think my IAC IC is getting flaky on me and I want to replace it but everybody seems to be out of stock. Does anybody know of any suppliers that have one in stock or know of a replacement? I went to Allegro's website and they say the current chip is being phased out but nobody has stock of the recommended replacement either . Thanks

Digi-Key has them in stock. Nu Horizons Electronics and Ten Four Ltd. have a few in stock as well, though we don't have any experience with these companies.

We have a few on hand too; PM us if you need one.

Though they're not available just yet, the Allegro A4970 is pin compatible with the UDN2916, so current designs (i.e. MS2 and MS3) won't have to change.
