Morning everyone,
Ice recently started a supercharged MX5 project using an ms2 board. I made a complete mess of wiring up the gm iat sensor so I need a replacement.
I've searched on here and the internet and not had any luck, the only company that I found dont have any in stock until next week.
Does anybody know of where to get one from here in the UK or any UK cars that have the sensor as standard? It's the type that you can buy from diyautotune just for reference.
Thanks in advance, Sean.

A sensor with a similar calibration comes on a Calibra turbo (C20LET) and possibly other Vauxhalls. Seems I don't have a sensor in stock at the moment, but if nobody else over here has one and you are in desperate need, I could unscrew the one from my project car?

Re: GM IAT Sensors in the uk.
Do you have a part number for the sensor that should be used?
Also, would it be beneficial for me to install one of those before the throttle body, as mine is in the plenum, and might get some heat soak?

Thanks for the reply James. I'll have a look and see if I can find one that you mentioned from a vx parts store online. I am in desperate need but I'll see how I get on looking for the other one.
Do you know from the top of your head if the sensor is 3/8 npt thread pitch too?
Thanks, Sean.

I'm pretty sure the Vauxhall one is a smaller metric thread.
