msextra upgrade
This my first post, I hope someone can help.
My ms2 v3 works perfectly on the b&g code but
When load msextra I can't get a tach signal from the stim
It won't start the engine....so I go back to b&g code and everything is fine again.
I have not tried tuning it yet as it has itb,s and need alpha n to start tuning
Any help appreciated cheers Phil.

Re: msextra upgrade
Your tooth #1 angle won't be zero, not sure that would cause no rpm signal on the stim however. Can you take a tooth and trigger log (composite log) under Diagnostics and High Speed Loggers tab?

Re: msextra upgrade
thanks elutionsdesign for taking time to look at my msq.
i am not using a crank trigger, just vr. i realise the stim has difficulty doing this
but it worked well with the b&g code.
i will jumper the ms for optical and try that, if i have to go down the ignition road
i will , but i wanted to get fuel right first.
thanks again for your help cheers phil

Re: msextra upgrade
Msextra is now up and running..I just needed to select fuel only in ignition settings now the stim
Sends a good strong tach signal to the ms and the engine starts, now lots of fun tuning thanks
To all .... Phil.
