Potential new user

Post by the_buster »

Hi,

i have been wanting to use MS for years. Now it's my turn 8) My question is can I use an in car linux pc to tune MS? if so has anyone done it? and if so can you give me some hardware specs? Finally would a raspberry PI be able to do it?

Thanks,

Yes, I haven't used a Raspberry Pi specifically, but we've got several Linux boxes here at the shop that are used for tuning.

Yer I'm going to try it. I'm also going to hard wire it in with a nice 7" touch screen.

Have you spent any time trolling the MP3Car forums? There will obviously be less MS support there, but they will also probably know more about the screens, Linux and the real world capabilities of a Pi.
Not trying to chase you off, but there is no reason not to take advantage of multiple resources.
