Unable to go online

Post by davidsproduction »

Good day,

I have a microsquirt ECU and completed installing it last night. I was going through calibrating the respective sensors and after testing the injectors the laptop freezed and since then i haven't been able to go online to turn off the injector testing mode, which has resulted in every time i turn the ignition on the injector pulses 400 times.I have gone into project properties and when i test the port it fails. What should i do next to correct this problem. Also at the top of the tunnerstudio it says go online for firmware version.

Regards,
David

Now might be a good time to load up the MS2/Extra firmware. You'll need to use the BOOTLOAD wire.

See the "Megasquirt-2 setting" up manual from the Manuals link above.

For reference, this is covered in section 2.12.8 in the Megasquirt-2 Setting up Manual. See the Manuals link above.

Are you getting RPM or not?

Is this a new project (I thought it was?) or an update. If it is an update, then be sure to read point 17 in the RELEASE-NOTES.txt that comes with the firmware.

It is likely best to start a new topic with a full description of your install and attach MSQ and datalog of an attempted start. See "Read help page here."
