I just managed to get connected to my Microsquirt Module via my Bluetooth module and load up the latest MS Extra firmware This was a big step for me - I'm new to the game.
I went in and adjusted my settings thusly;
Toothed Wheel (I have a CPS)
Cam Input = MAP Sensor (I have no cam sensor but do have MAP)
Trigger Wheel Arrangement - Single Wheel w/Missing Tooth (which is what I have)
and a 12-3 Scheme (which I believe is correct)
Squirts Per Cycle = 1
Injector Staging = Simultaneous
Single Cylinder/Single Injector
which is all correct as far as I can see. Yet the message indicates I need to correct this error in my settings then powercycle the Megasquirt. I am new to the 'squirt so did I miss something here?

You also need to read the manual for the page so you understand what the settings do before changing them. It is linked from "Help" at the top of each TunerStudio settings page and as tooltips (?) beside each and every setting.

Re: Number of Teeth/Cylinders Conflict
I thought those were more for running, or nearly running installs. In this case it's just the bare module sitting on my desk with a clean install of the latest firmware (achieving that was a success in itself) Those were the only settings I changed.24c wrote:Ernie,

I did take a brief look at them but I suspect I'm probably jumping ahead. I really should be back to (don't laugh!) my circuit board design but I've been at that for so long that actually being able to connect to the ECU over bluetooth and have Tuner Studio connect to it was a nice respite from laying out traces etc. Some tangible progress as opposed to 'conceptual' progressjsmcortina wrote:You also need to read the manual for the page so you understand what the settings do before changing them. OK, I give up, I've looked all over the place and while I found some info, and made some progress, I still couldn't quite get it
Nm, found it
The key was to find where 'timed min-map' was set (which is, under Basic/Load Settings and then Map Sample Settings. Once that was set correctly the error message went away
Thanks you;
