Trigguer wheel on CAM

Post by botasjr »

hi

is possible to install a trigguer wheel on the cam?

to control 4 injectors and wasted spark.

what pattern is better for this trigguer wheel? 36-1, 60-2 ..... etc

the problem is, i need to install a megasquirt on a very old renault alpine turbo, and this engine dont have crankshaft pulley.
the alternator and whater pump have power from a very big Cam pulley.

just google on the internet for renault 5 alpine turbo engine.

regards

Yes. Base teeth number needs to be divisible by the number of cylinders.
