wideband controller help and idle noise

Post by the_buster »

hi all

I have ordered a apsx wideband D2 controller with gauge and need to know how to enable it properly in TS as it's not listed in the calibrate afr menu. also i am running a ford 302 Windsor V8 with a MS3 with expansion and i am experiencing a low pitch bawp coming from my throttle body when the car is cold once the car is warm it goes away. A friend of mine suggested that it was my idle valve but I'm not so sure. how can I test it? I have tried many many things to get rid of this but nothing i have done works and probably all stupid. any help with this would be great.

thanks.

SOLVED

Idle noise was due to a dirty connector on the idle valve.

Tunerstudio APSX D2 wideband settings were implemented as 0v = 9 AFR 5v = 19 AFR but with this controller i can calibrate my own range.
