Canbus communication information/tutorial?

This current project will be my first dive into conbus. Have a couple devises I want to link together and wondering if there is anything in the manuals as far as generic info I can read up on

I'll be running ms3pro for engine control, a microsquirt for transmission control and looking at another squirt as an extended input/output box along with diy's egt can

From what I have read with each devise so far is it kinda syncs with all through pro on its own and I will be able to use the single Pro USB to communicate with all of them?

I'll be wiring the engine and tranny in about 2 weeks at this point

Yep, that's pretty much it. You may have to remove the termination resistor (R18) from one of the two MicroSquirts.
