Working on a MicroSquirt project for my car where I use the OEM harness. Was wondering if someone can hint or suggest on how to control the purge solenoid that the ECU signals.
I am more interested in the algorithm (Idle, running, etc.) and which pins are suggested to be used for this.
I know that the OEM ECU has a fuel tank pressure sensor and a Canister Drain Cut Valve pins and I can use those.
The only reason I want to get this running is because I know there are drive-ability issues or hazardous when this system doesn't operate correctly. I know that I can get a vented gas cap to eliminate fuel tank pressure, but I would like to leave that as a last resort.
Any help would be appreciated.
