I have an installation which ran using an ECU other than Megasquirt and had a well developed advance mapping sheme. It was Apha-N based and therefor the mapping was TPS percent vs RPM. We’re now converting to a MAP based Microsquirt installation which controls advance as kPa vs RPM.
Is there such a thing as a method I can use to convert a TPS/RPM map to a kPa/RPM map?
(PS I do not yet have a .msq file because the current installation uses a Specialist Components ECU with a completely different file format.)
Can Alpha-N advance curve be converted to MAP curve?

Data log the engine running and use that to create a table of what throttle position you are seeing at each MAP and RPM reading.

Thanks! That make perfect sense and seems like a universal way that compensates for variations in throttle body size, intake track length, et. al. that would make a mathmatical conversion very complex.
