How do determine plug gap size for ls2 coil conversion

Post by jsdevel »

This probably applies to any install replacing a distributor with ls2 coils. In my case, I megasquirted a '91 Volvo 240. Spark plug is NGK BPR6ES with a factory gap of 0.028-0.031 in. How do I determine the proper gap size? Should I use plugs from other vehicles that have LS2 coils?

I'd usually start with the stock plug gap.
