newbie ecotron,s procal to megasquirt conversion

i have installed an ecotron small engine efi on my 250cc four stroke motorbike , as a i bought the system secondhand (as new, still in the box) ecotrons will not other any back up. I was wondering it is possible to run mircosquirt in the ecotrons ecu. has anyone got any ideas .... Thank you...

The Ecotrons ECU has no known relationship to MegaSquirt, does not use the same firmware, and is not supported here.

Yes i know that there is no connection , but can megasquirt be installed on the ecu ie replace one firmware for another .....if it cannot i will have try and persist with this ecotron .....Thank you

Unless the ecotrons uses the same processor and hardware as the MicroSquirt - in which case I would suggest B&G might become very displeased - the firmware simply will not work. I would wager you can't even LOAD the firmware and have the device turn on.
