Started Then 2 Mins Later No Fire At All

Post by CMac89 »

So I ran into a myriad of issues today where my MS3Pro shorted the 12v input (after the relay's fuse) and of course it blew one of the internal fuses. So when i took the case apart, I saw a tiny shard sitting on top of the fuse which I noticed is the retainer/fuse contacts to provide connection from both ends of the fuse. Since they both separated, I had to bulk up an end of the fuse with solder so it would contact and stay put. I mention this because I'm not sure if it'd be an issue I'm having now.

Some time later after that I fired the motor up and all was functioning well. I shut the motor off to let it cool and then went to fire it back up, but I couldn't get so much as even one hit. All injectors and coils are firing via the i/o tests. I made some logs to show what it's doing during cranking. The spark plugs are very wet so I know it has fuel. You can even smell it.

Please see the logs for more info. Looks like I'm getting a sync loss, but reason zero?

you egt sensors are reading 2184f and the ecu is shutting down the fuel and sparks because of the egt actions settings

Aww jeez....they must have came back in randomly. I was trying to get them to work all day. When it was running, they were all dead and showing 32 degF.

That has to be it. Why did the PW go to 4.5ms after cranking was stopped in "crank no fire"?

Well that's interesting...i'll turn off the shutdown feature and see how it goes. Thanks a bunch for looking into it!
