MS2 v MS3 & MS3 pro

Post by Ravihotwok »

Hello there,

I have a MS2 ecu which I have bought (fully tested) second hand to fit onto my current built, the engine in question is a high compression focus st170 engine running throttle bodies and vvt delete.

My question is, is it worth buying the ms3 kit to build myself? will this be as good as the ms3 pro?

just after some advice on wheather or not it is worth the change or not.

Any help would be most appreciated

Cheers

If you go to most MS dealer's sites, you'll find a list of the facilities on them all. To allow you to choose which suits your needs.

I think there's some nicer strategy in the ms3 for ITB.

What main board is your ms2? You can just upgrade it to ms3.

this is where you have lost me pmsl

If I remove the outer casing to expose the internals and post a pic on here, could you confirm what exactly I have and the best way forward if needed?

It is coming off anyway as I wanted to remake it in carbon fibre

It will run the same code as an MS3Pro and have the same number of inputs and outputs. Some of the MS3Pro's enhancements, such as the MAX9926 VR conditioners or the switch mode power supply, are not available in current kits.
