I am currently shopping for parts to convert my 1965 dune buggy to EFI. The question is, what connectors are used on the different ms products? I have found the AMPSEAL connector https://www.diyautotune.com/product/mic ... connector/ but it only mentions the microsquirt. The ms1 2 and original 3 seem to use the db37. Because of the way my car is, I am going to have to build a fully custom wiring harness for it. That is a very labor intensive task, and as such, I would prefer to only do it once. After I have completed it, I would like to be able to just make a short adapter harness in the event of wanting to upgrade my ecu. Because it is a four cylinder and not a high performance one at that, I was thinking of starting with a microsquirt, then eventually moving to a ms2 or even ms3 ultimate if I feel like I need to get the increased power efficiency of full sequential injection and sequential spark ect.
If anyone has any suggestions for how to terminate the wiring harness so It is easily upgradable, I would greatly appreciate it.

On a Dune buggy I'd only consider the Microsquirt or one of the MS3Pro varants (likely the EVO in your case).
If the price is not an issue I'd just go right to the MS3Pro, and have all of the options available from teh start, even if you don't use them all right away.

If I terminate the end of my wiring harness with the connector for the ms3 pro evo, and then adapt it for the microsquirt, I would have a little more work, but I would have future updatability. Is there a place where I can buy both the male and female connectors? I only can find the link for where to buy the female ones.

My view is never use extra connectors if you can avoid them. Plain wire pretty well never gives problems - but connectors, and where the wire is terminated to them can and do.
If you change from a 'basic' setup to fully sequential etc you'll need to alter your loom anyway. So if the connector(s) are different, just hack them off and replace.
Only time I'd used a Micro is where space is tight. Like on a bike. On a car, use an MS3. You can upgrade to the expansion card later. Or if money is tight, an MS2. A used one can be even better value. And go for the V3 board - that is easier to fix if anything should fail. The DB37 connector is made by the million from different sources, so is easy to source and far better value than a specialist connector. Which is why MS used it in the first place.
