DaveEFI, where do you get materials for custom wires? I tried belden at Napa but it was all low resistance.

In the UK, there are many who supply such things. Sadly, not really a one stop shop for everything. So you might have to check out several to find what you need. Ebay (from a known supplier) is worth a look too.
