Fuel pump relay

Hey , I'm using ms2 v3 on honda cb600f engine
Ecu controlling fuel pump relay . It was working suddenly ecu not giving continuously signal to fuel pump relay at cranking it gives pulses so the relay is flashing
I removed the relay ground form ecu and put it into my chassis using switch to control it . It works good now but i want to know where the problem is ?
