MT 2.25 P1 vs 2.25 P3

Questions specific to Megatune. (Only about the tuning software, not about MS1/MS2 code or code features)
Note that Megatune is obsolete.

MT 2.25 P1 vs 2.25 P3

Post by Eales V8 »

Could someone please explain what the change from P1 to P3 mean, and it is possible to open up an older Tune file for working and modifying tunning etc on P3 if it was ususally done of P1 ?

I am a tad confused around the fundemental changes and the consequences of mixing older files etc, I may use say 2x laptops one with P1 and one with P3, can I use files back and forth on both ?

Hope this makes sense !

The differences between P1 and P3 are within the mechanics of Megatune itself.
There were no release notes on the different Px versions of Megatune as far as I'm aware, so few people know what actually changed.

The menus and file compatability are a totally different issue and are controlled by the "ini" file that you use and are not affected in any way by the sub-release of Megatune that you use.

I'm running P1. The changes are outllined on one of the threads that I did not find.

The changes are few. One change is that you can select and change multiple cells in a fuel table.
