I just recently upgraded from 029v to 029y4 extra cord, I've noticed that the datalog file sizes are much smaller.. They used to be 400-700kb, when now, similar time frames are only 150-200kb. Is this normal? I have the bitrate set at 9600 and the right com port, etc.
I'm running ms1 v3.0 with edis.

No, that isn't normal. With the same MegaTune settings, the records per second should be pretty much the same.
There are a couple minor changes to the logged fields 1 added / 1 deleted so that should balance out more or less.
Are you getting rough;y the same number of rec/sec?
What is Time interval set to in the Communications Menu?

What is the record per second count?
To check, look at the Time field count how many records you see before the second rolls.

Re: Megatune datalog file sizes
In the Communication Settings dialog, lower the interval. The best you will get from MS1-Extra is about 17-18 records per second using a serial cable. Other connection types may be lower.
