JUST FEW QUESTIONS ??

Im very new to Megasqurt so excuse me if i dont get the info right. I been messing around with the different software(MEGATUNE2.25,TUNERSTUDIO,MEGATUNIX)
that will run MEGASQUIRT I have not bought the stuff yet to finish my project car 1991 mustang with a 2.3 ford turbo out of a 1986 tc, Im just have a few questions that i need ansewered.
1.Will the MEGATUNIX control ford tfi with msd 6a box? Would I set it up with ms ertra like in MEGATUNE no tfi etc?
2.I have read right in different post you can not import .msq files to MEGATUNIX ? Unless you you use megatune 2.25 first then close megatune then open up megatunix that ket megatunix read the ecu,Im just guessing Im not a computer whiz so i might be wrong correct me if Im wrong!!
3.I was messing arounf with MEGATUNIX last night and I went 3d wiew and the view went up to the left top coner of my laptop you try to rotate it gets all messed up is their some kind of bug ?? I have the gtk+runtime 2. 12.9 lasted version ,and the current (0.9.17) release of MegaTunix my pc is a hp with vista 32 blah blah.

4.I really like to use MEGATUNIX with Megasquit II 2.2 pcb will it work or will i hav stick with a MS1 2.2 pcb ??

Here's a little background.

The choice of MS1 or MS2 and the code you load onto it ultimately determines the features you get from the ECU. All the tuning software is doing is letting you control those features.

On the TFI question. As you are using the MSD box, yes, it is setup just like any other MSD output install and works on MS1/Extra or MS2 (any)

For the choice between MS1 and MS2, if you want a "cheap and cheerful" setup that is a good entry into fuel injection, then the MS1 on a v2.2 PCB offers great value for money and a good start. If you later decided to swap to the MS2, then you've only "wasted" the cost of the MS1 processor ($10?) and have to pay for the MS2 card.

Use whichever tuning software you prefer. They all support MS1/Extra. Megatune fully supports MS2/Extra, the other two are coming along.
