Expanding the lower text windows in MegaTune

Questions specific to Megatune. (Only about the tuning software, not about MS1/MS2 code or code features)
Note that Megatune is obsolete.

Expanding the lower text windows in MegaTune

Post by acalvo »

In the bottom of the MegaTune display I see a bunch of windows that display text like different messages and status. The problem is they are tiny and some messages are long, they just don't fit entirely and I can't read them clearly. How can I expand or stretch these windows? Also, I get a message that says "Not sync..." highlighted in RED in one of these windows. What does this mean exactly? What is it not syncing? (I see no visible problem, I can connect to the ECU fine and everything else seems fine).

Setup:

MegaTune 2.5
MSII/Extra 2.1.0d v3.0 board
Wasted Spark
2003 HondaCBR600RR engine w/ 20mm intake air restrictor (inline 4, 4 stroke)
Fusion Motors, Formula SAE Turabo

Single Throttle Intake manifold w/ 20mm intake air restrictor

I don't believe it is possible to change the size without re-writing the Megatune software. You can remove some of the "indicators" by editing the "ini" file being used for your firmware.

Not-synced means the Megasquirt does not have syncronisation with the crank wheel on your engine, or the engine is stationary.

Ok, thanks. That makes sense, since it was in fact stationary the crank wheel at that moment.
