Hi guys, I got my 2.3L Turbo Ford engine with a Volvo 16v head running. Using a MS1 upgraded to MS2 Rev 2.89100. Tuner Studio MS v0.999.7.
The Ego is setup to Wideband LC1. The LC1 output Ana1 is used for the dash mounted Guage. The LC2 output Ana2 goes to the MS.
When running the dash gauge shows a lean condition after it has warmed up, and goes rich when engine revs increase. Just as it did when the stock LA3 Computor was installed.
The Ms2 on Computor screen gauge shows it to be rich and decreases when the engine revs increase. Exactly opposite to the dash guage.
Its almost like the signal between Ana1 and Ana2 is inverted.
It used to work ok when the MS1 was installed before the upgrade? I have done a fair bit of searching to try to pinpoint this problem.
Any info to correct this issue would be appreciated, and thanks in advance.
cheers, Bill.

Re: EGO readings?
Have you calibrated the AFR tables?
From the menu bar:
Tools --> Calibrate AFR Table...
MS1 did not have these tables, but for MS2 and MS3 the voltage to AFR mapping is written to the controller so it can calculate AFR in the firmware.

Re: EGO readings?
Yes, I went to Tools - Calibrate AFR Table. Then I select EGO Sensor - Innovate LC1 Default. Then - Write to controller.
I did the above a number of times, with the same results.
cheers,
Bill.

Re: EGO readings?
Have you used the logworks software to calibrate the two analogue outputs to the same voltages/AFRs you calibrated Megasquirt with?

Re: EGO readings?
James can I invert the output of Ana 2? At the moment it is reading 3+ Volts with the engine idling. It is setup as follows.
0.000v - 7.35 Afr.
5.000v - 22.39 Afr.
Can I change it to the following?
5.000v -7.35 Afr.
0.000v - 22.39 Afr.
I also tried changing the MS2 to Narrow band and the MS2 gauge reading dropped right off. The engine seemed to idle a lot smoother at that time as well. It just seems that the signal is the wrong way around for some reason?
