I improved my throttle response greatly by switching from 2 squirts alternating to 4 squirts alternating. 2 squirts simultaneous would do the same thing. (2.4 liter 4cyl engine)

Appearently doubling the squirts per engine cycle enables the MS ECU to respond quicker to changes in operating conditions. The downside of better throttle response is with my 740cc injectors, I now have a required fuel of 2.7, and thats with an inj opening time of .67ms. My AFR's are not as stable as before. So becarefull not to get your req_ fuel number to low. I suppose one could even run 4 squirts simultaneous if there Req_ fuel was high enough...

Does the AE injector opening time have to be changed manually in the ini file, or does it use the inj opening time in the constants page in MT?

This is like trying to win the loto/bingo. There so much factors that you have to guess wich it's best for your engine/response. Tune the AE it's going to be a nightmare for me I guess. Oh well...this post helps a lot though.

My car is running pretty well now - thanks Andy
At the March meeting I believe you were trying to get my Megatune installation to datalog AE Driven Fuel Percent.
Can you or someone explain how to do that?

In old 028h8 just add the line

entry = accDecEnrich, "AccelPCT", float, "%.2f"

to your INI It should work in late 029 also

I aleady have a line in my ini that says:

entry = accDecEnrich, "TPSacc", int, "%d"

Will that cause a problem?

Have you tried plotting TPSacc in the graphing program? That should be what you are looking for.

Yes, that is what I want. :)

Should I throw out the first TPSacc value as we talked about in March?

Thanks Andy!

I never checked that on the logs Just play it by ear. Its just a pattern thing anyway. What does this motor want and do the numbers look correct. 500% for 2 sec or .2% for .2 sec

Looking at my logs it appears that the first logged value is the same as the first gauge value.
I'm tuning BMW race car with 3 lb flywheel, so I'm guessing the accel time can be shorter?
