With the recent firmware release, LCDash-v1.1, All MS2 and MS2/Extra firmwares are supported -even the MS2/Extra Alphas.

This is a great example of the DigiDash installed in a ms bike.

Does anyone like this gauge layout?
or should we stick to dial gauges?

Yep, I tried them all, and they all seem to work fine with the V1.1 Digidash firmware.

Great job Chris and Mike, the new firmware is progressing well!!! :D

I like!!!

This would be great for the Digidash I want to eventually daisy chain to the LCDash on my Locost.

Seems like there should be a button that toggles between a few different configs? is this even possible, with memory limits and all? Possibly put the added gauge configs in a directory on the flash drive?

I think it would be cool to have a display all gauge setup like that, then a second page with at least two large Speedo/tacho gauges.

I also really like this setup. Can you switch between the original layout and this one? For cruising, I'd like the original layout where I more easily see RPM and AFR however, when tuning, all the extra parameters will be handy.

^Sounds like multiple gauge layout page support might be bumped up in the priority list.

Daisy chaining should be no problem with the two USB ports. You could create an [almost] endless chain of devices.

We expect that feature to be available around July 6, 2007

The LCDash is only at 30k of code space out of 256k. So plenty of room for adding lots more features

For more information, we have a feature schedule here,

Yeah I know that feature is on the list. My intention is to have at least two daisy chained together, and the last one doing the logging to a remote mounted flash drive, I think a 1gig flash drive could log many hours of driving. I've got a SD card adaptor working as well, so that's another option.

This LCDash is just so cool, tons of capability. Now I need to work on a bracket to mount it under the dash of my 68 Cougar temporarily until i get the locost up and running later in the year, or next year.......

Check out my Youtube video of the first power up of my LCdash -

Dude,

I like them all....especially the one with the Speedo.

Do you have hex files of these configurations? I'd like to test drive them.

How hard would it be to put two smaller analog sweeping gauges side by side?

Scott -
These setups are not configured to be ms compatible they simply talk to a pc through HyperTerminal...
I am just trying to get an understanding of what people want to look at while they are driving. Based on the opinions of the ms community is how we will decide on writing the firmware for the next gauge layout.
If you are really interested in messing with the gauges you can go to http://lcdash.com/source/LCDash/Documentation/ and change parameters of the analog gauge to make it larger.

Chris,

That Scope mode is truly amazing. I would venture to say that no other LCD screen intended for EFI display can come close to what the LCDash can do for any price...
You guy's really did your homework on the hardware, now the firmware is progressing at breakneck speed.

LCDash Rocks!! 8)

This new mounting capability will be sold as a kit. It will allow you to monitor all of your MS parameters without having to bring a notebook in the car with you.
