inovate mtx al problems

Post by hessdawg »

anybody else having problems with inovate mtx al????
i bought one from diy installed it right before the slip on pipe on my motor cycle.
and i labeled it as a lc1 in tuner studio.
i get random E8 codes
It jumps around allot when the bike is idling smooth
it will get stuck on a random number and stay there till you turn the ignition off and restart
and when using TS live tuning it takes so much fuel away that the bike dies and sputters.

i was under the impression that this was the same as an lc1 but i may be be wrong

They're similar but were supposed to add a couple improvements. How close is the sensor to the cylinder head?

If it's that far away, any chance it's sucking up air from exhaust reversion? We have trouble getting an AFR reading at idle with the tailpipe clamp mounted O2 sensors.

First time I've heard of an MTX doing this. Your best bet would be to contact Innovate directly.
