I have a spare USB Bluetooth dongle and was wondering if there was anyway to turn it into a BT serial adapter? Since as a USB device it has power, rx and tx and ground, could these be wired to the db9 pins to provide a signal?

It would require an intermediate device to convert the RS-232 signals to USB signals, and there are already devices out there with this built-in.

Oh, well. I was hoping I could use one of the dongles I already have without needing to spend extra to get one of the adapter.
Thanks for letting me know.
