How many engines running on MS2/Extra

1981 DeLorean. Stock fuel system is Bosch K-Jetronic with Lambda. I removed that entire system (still need to remove associated wiring harness).

I am using the intake manifold, throttle body and fuel rails from a Renault of unknown make. Had setup shipped over from England. Injectors are high impedance, Accel brand. I am running 3.1.1, fuel control only. May do spark in the future. Installation isn't particularly pretty yet, but it is new and will be tidied up with time.

2000 vauxhall astra sri. 2ltr x20xev ecotec, rebuilt with z20let pistons/rods and injectors running stock z20let turbo and manifold but still using the x20xev dual track inlet manifold. running on microsquirt using 2.0.1p code. so far running 8psi boost. a little under power'd top end but i have a conservative spark map for now. been very reliable for the last 6wks or so with good mpg.

TVR Chimaera.
Fresh 4.6 V8 with 4.0 ltr pistons for higher comp, '500' ported heads, typhoon cam, full decat. 308bhp.
Now runs 12.4 @ 111 NA and 11.6 @ 125 on a 65 shot of nitrous.

My '62 VW Karmann Ghia runs a 1835cc T1 engine with home-made intake system/plenum and MS2Extra


It is about to be rebuilt using GSXR 600 ITBs over the winter.

I have my Microsquirt running MS2/Extra in and operational. Car is a 1996 Toyota RAV4. Engine is still bone stock apart from an Innovate LC-1 wideband O2 sensor.

Coming soon is 350cc injectors, T3 turbo, etc. Going for about 130kw, but we'll see what I end up with on a safe tune.

mk2 golf rieger, 2.8 12v VR6, gt35/40 turbo .50 ar, custom intake manifold (home made ), 60-2 trigger wheel + vw ignition module on stoc VR6 distributor, running on megasquirt 2 v3.0 fw 3.1.1 (for now, soon to be updated to the latest firmware), started on first atemp with no problems at all, yet the project isn't finished...

Now i can safely say that the car runs with the MS2/Extra ;)

Car is a Super 7 clone with Opel/Vauxhall C20XE, Hayabusa TB's, VAG/Audi 4-wire COP's full seq (using both distributor Hallsensor and VR sensor), CBR1100XX-injectors 335cc and an MS2/Extra 3.0
Mapping still to do.... winter here now and no winter tyres to the car...

Just got mine up and running on MSPNP- BMW 325 IX Touring turbo, 16 psi boost.
Still got some (alot) work to get cold idle tuned, but im reading up on topic.

Did a DIYPNP setup on this datsun 510. SR20DET, complete rewire and tuck, 1000cc injectors, LS2 coils, 18G turbo, E85. just working out a small kink with the EBC.

the owner wanted his painter friend to redo the cam cover....it needs it and is an eye sore compared to the rest of the engine now!

the car in first video, is mk1 16v KR, but it's running MS1extra, no launch control, stock distributor, KR 50mm intake, 4-1 exhaust mani, 315cc injectors and 268° schrick cams..
I'm pretty sure, it's my car :wink:

OK after some big style hair pulling out I finally got MSII Extra running on my VR6 Turbo.

Initial running seems very good but I'll have to wait until tomorrow to give it a good drive around.

I found the new ASE % of req-fuel table confusing, but only because I hadn't read James' notes properly (and noticed that it wasn't in ms anymore!).

For anybody else needing info for a VR6 here are my based trigger wheel settings.

Setup for a VR6 is as follows:
Trigger wheel settings
Single wheel with missing teeth
60 Teeth
2 missing
78 Degrees BTDC
Crank Wheel

Ignition Options
Trigger offset 30deg (This doesn't seem to move the timing at all???)
Skip Pulses 7
Falling edge
Toothed Wheel
Going Low
Wasted Spark
Output D14
