Hello experienced tuners!
I've got my bug running really well at the moment but I still have a small issue when I 'blip' the throttle on downshifts.
There seems to be a hesitation which can mean on a quick shift, it doesn't rev at all!
I've done a datalog (attached) of throttle application when the car is stationery, trying to imitate the problem. I've also attached the current tune.
Could it be something in the acceleration wizard settings?
Other than this the car is running really well. Love the flexibilty that the bluetooth gives!
Many thanks, Marc.

Re: Lag on throttle application
Yes, probably an AE issue - but I think it may be too much rather than too little.

Thanks Matt, I was thinking that it might be too much or too little.
Having seen what my settings are on the msq file, do you have any advice on perhaps what it should be??
In the old days I'd put a smaller pump jet in it! How do I best do that now?
Thanks in advance, Marc.

Re: Lag on throttle application
Thanks Matt, I'll do some reading.
I just have to tramslate it to TunerStudio, but I guess the theories are the same.
Cheers, Marc

Re: Lag on throttle application
Did the reading necessary and now I've reset with a change to the way the EA works.
Instead of 100% TPS, I've now got 60% TPS and 40% MAP and it runs perfectly. Blip the throttle any time and it responds.
Guess I should've read the instructions more completely from the start!
Note to self...
Thanks Marc.
