Most likely the one that matches the brand and model that you have.

That is a narrow band sensor. If you want wideband you need both a correct sensor type and a suitable controller.

Ok, I was advised to get that one. Am new to all this, what difference does that make. Is a wideband better?
It for a ls1 corvette engine?

Nonetheless, it is still a narrow band sensor. It is difficult to do any meaningful tuning without a wideband (IMO of course)!

A narrow band sensor connects directly to MS, but only tells it if richer or weaker than stoich. A wideband sensor needs its own ECU which then connects to MS and gives the actual air/fuel ratio. Which means you can tune to the AF ratio you want at any point on the map.

There are several different makes on the market. I've got a Tech Edge, and my version was a DIY kit, same idea as MS, if you like building things.

I use an Innovate LC-1 Tuner Studio has a default setting for it. It has 2 programmable outputs so it can feed the ms2, and also run a gauge or feed a stock ecu if you are running a parallel installation.
A narrowband can be usefull after your tuned, but not somuch with boost and your richer mixtures.

Thanks, The MS is a stand alone unit.
I dont mind building things, it helps you understand how some things work.
Where can i pick one up from then?

I bought mine from a friend, but google it and you will find hundreds of places selling them.
Since your new to tuning, I would read through all the documentation for whatever MS your using, then go through all the posts in the tuning section, and you'll have a better idea about how things work.
Taking a few hours to read these two will save several times as many hours fumbling through tuning blindly.
You will find that there is a method to tuning every parameter, and its all in the documentation. Some of the docs need updating, so if the info isnt clear double check with ms2 and ms3 docs and it will probably be more obvious where to go.
Also, don't be shy to post if you cant find an answer, the MS community is great for learning and sharing info.

has anyone used one of these the MTX-L gauge kit?

Yes, I have an MTX-L operating I believe more stable than the LC-1 which I started with, and I would use it again.
I also have a gage from 14.7 which is much more compact, robust, and $$ effective.
I say that by reason of the fact that my LC-1 indicated the Bosch sensor was failed through flashing led code(s) and wouldn't work despite all manner firmware rework, but that same sensor worked trouble free with the 14.7 kit.

Thanks for the advice.
I think ill try the MTX l gauge kit then.
Its meant t be easier to install also.
I'll let you know how i get on.
I'll read up a little more on tuning to.
Is there any videos on the website for intro into tuning?
