With the .124 update there appear to be two more dashboards. A skull and an orange themed one. Still nothing like posts above.

Thought i'd post up a dash I'm mocking up for my MS3 powered MX-5...
While this is still a work in progress.I took inspiration from the Lamborghini Aventador, and making the layout to suit what I will need most while driving the car on the track.

Pretty much finished now on my Dash, and quite chuffed with the result.
Created images for all the indicators i want to use, so things like overboost, CEL, and FanOn now display with stylish icons.

Re: The official "Post your custom-from-scratch dash" thread
The plan is to rotate the dials so that the normal value is at 12 o'clock. That makes it easy to check things out with just a glance. It can get exciting in a hurry with street tires. I have a couple extra gauges for things I need later. I'm sure thing will change when I get it up and running.
When running gauges are at odd angles, how do you rotate the dialog?

This makes me really want to get into making up some backgrounds to lay the indicators/needles over. *thumbsup*

But can I ask how? I understand you design the graphics in a separate program, but how do you make all the moving parts act in TS?
I could only wish for half the end result!

Its kind of hard to explain in text, did you see the video i posted above? That roughly explains what is going on.
It's certainly nothing all that special, just clever use of the simple design tools that TunerStudio offers. Basically almost all dash gauges are transparent, and most of the design is simply in the background.
I hope to get a few more designs drawn up when i get the time. Do you think there would be a market for selling the .dash files for a small fee?
Video here if you missed it: https://youtu.be/fqnVJwmXLkA
Re: The official "Post your custom-from-scratch dash" thread
Yeah I saw the video after I posted explains alot, simple idea, but for a non-photoshop user, very difficult.
I'm sure someone would by the dashes, but I don't think it will be a big business, since all installs are different. With that design, you are quite locked to what elements to show.
I believe each project would need a custom design. I'd definately would like a dash with Audi Sport theme.
Depending on how much work it actually is to make one, maybe 1 or 2 could be included in Shadowdash, to make it more attractive in the Play Store

Re: The official "Post your custom-from-scratch dash" thread
That one took me maybe... 12hrs?
The more I do, the faster I get at it.
The other consideration is to offer people "image packs" where they can create/design their own dash using some pre-made backgrounds and indicators.

Re: The official "Post your custom-from-scratch dash" thread
The last idea is great, I'd do that! It easier for me to build a dash if I had a selection of transparent png files of indicators.

Re: The official "Post your custom-from-scratch dash" thread
I agree with that. I find getting alignment and layout ok really time consuming in Tuner Studio, some base layouts plus an easy way to pull in optional components and get them to line up nicely would be cool.
