New laptop = communication fun!

New laptop = communication fun!
I need some help. I recently had to replace my laptop and now have an issue getting TS to detect a MSPNP2. I am running windows 10 with a USB to RS232 adapter. When I run Portcheck it has absolutely no issue finding the MS. If I go into where you would update the firmware it finds it again. If I load a tune or try to create a new one it will just sit there and scan. I have tried multiple firmware versions for my adapter. I tried a different laptop and it has zero issues connecting. I'm sure it has to be a setting somewhere but I'm not having any luck finding it. Ideas?
TS MS v3.0.16
MSPNP2 v3.3.1
TS MS v3.0.16
MSPNP2 v3.3.1

Looks to be an FTDI cable, so that shouldn't be a problem....
Are you saying in TunerStudio's firmware loader it detects it, but on create project it does not? ( it is the same detect?? )
In Mini-Term if you click Open Port and type an S in the top box, do you get a response?

Re: New laptop = communication fun!
TunerStudio wouldn't make an attempt to access the MS. I went ahead and reinstalled the software last night and it worked great. I saved the comm log before I uninstalled it if you would like to look at it.
