wierdness with changing parameter after update

For discussion of Phil Tobin's Tuner Studio software (Only about the tuning software itself, not about how to tune or firmware features)

wierdness with changing parameter after update

Post by nismoautoxr »

Here is what Ive noticed. I can click on a box and enter a specific number and it will not accept it . The burn button will not light up . The box that I entered the number in stays white and the cursor continues to blink. When I close the box even after clicking the burn button I can bring the box back up and the original value is still there...not the one I put in.
If I click a box and then click the =, +, or - box and then enter the desired action the hit ok ...it will then accept the change and the burn button with light up. This has been the case with everything Ive tried to do whether it be a VE cell, a timing cell, a cranking duty setting, etc. Its only since the update that I recently put in last week. I am using 3.0.28. The controller is a MS3 W MS3X on 1.4.1 release firmware.

Re-check your version number.
Direct entry on tables is a known issue in the 3.0.50.06 beta, but not in the stable 3.0.28

There should be another beta update with this fixed this week.

Actually, I think it is look and feel dependent in 3.0.28.
With Metal Look & Feel the direct entry doesn't respond to the enter key. You have to hit an arrow key or click on another cell.

If you switch to the Windows Look & Feel it should work.
