ignition tuning

Post by logicaluk »

hi
i have a triumph acclaim, (Honda Ballade) it currently has a standard en4 1335cc engine 8.4:1 compression ratio, with standard twin carbs, microsquirt running msextra 3.4.2 & wasted spark coil pack, crank, CLT, IAT, O2, TPS sensors.
i have 2 igniton maps loaded table1 is taken from the available distributor specs, table3 is the one that came from the auto table maker.

table3 according to my mate feels slightly faster.

i would have attached my msq and datalog here but the board attachment quota has been reached.
ill try agin later today.

How are you monitoring knocks?

Do you have dyno access?
